He was then inspired to write other books too. The books are based on his life experiences: from having a parent go through cancer, to being a gay man who wants a family, working in assisted living, experiencing bullying growing up, and having friends with disabilities. I wish I had a Teddy and these books when I was growing up. Teddy is here to help people be brave.
